Firetruck! Firetruck!

Or as Trevor would say, "Fi Tru" "Fi Tru". This weekend the Snohomish County Fire District 1 held Open Houses at their stations. As if Trevor was not already excited enough about Fire Trucks with his bed, books, and toys, we thought we would take it one step further and add real life fire trucks. Mom had a girl's event that the boys needed to vacate the house for so this was Boys Only, and a most appropriate destination for Boys Only. Trevor's 'Uncle' Brian joined us as well - I think he may have had the most fun and learning experience out of the three of us. :)

All in all, Trevor was a bit intimidated by how big these trucks are up close, the tires alone were bigger than him. The flashing lights were a big hit though, as was watching the fire hose demonstration and pretend driving in the cab. Trevor also was able to color on the Battalion Chief's Mobile Command Logistics Board (fancy wording for whiteboard).

Its all building up to an all too obvious and logical choice for Trevor's Halloween outfit this year.

Sitting on the main rig. District colors are Black on Red, pretty slick actually.

Hold on Daddy, someone needs our help.

Nice headphones dude.

Unintentional self-portrait by Brian. It’s not his fault, these trucks are SHINY! There is also a big smiley Trevor sitting behind the wheel. Posted by Picasa
