The Winckler family tradition of cutting the tree the day after Thanksgiving has continued! We set off to pick the perfect tree from Saint Nick's Trees in Monroe. They only sell a certain amount, and have sold out the first weekend of the season in many years, so we were there within their first hour of opening!
Still snow on the ground from our Thanksgiving week snowstorm (that gave the kids 2 snow days, in addition to the Thanksgiving break), but the roads were all clear. It was COLD!!! A quick tractor ride to get to the lower field where we found this beauty, then some hot cider and a candy cane, and headed home!
